Oblique pen holder
in 5 min & 3 folds
Rigid origami. 100 years old Blanzy pen nib.
Rotring Tikky II 0.35 mm.
To bring the nib's tip closer to your grip, making its positioning more precise, more controllable, you can add another 45° bend to this layout, forming a reverse beam.
Experiment with angles, distances, hardness of the structure, nibs, inks and papers: all of these would produce a different scripting behaviour. Prepare the nib, ensuring ink holding on it well, and its edges are not too sharp as to scratch paper. Note that this holder designed to allow you to place an ink reservoir under the nib.

Brush — vector — vector.
It often happens that the first rough sketch is both the final one — all that remains is to trace.
The composition is following the official emblem by Haramotoki Sensei, calligraphy master and friend of Masutatsu Oyama.
An illustration for the book, where calligraphy is compared to martial arts.
'It is said the warrior's is the twofold way of brush and sword
('Brush and sword is the same', bunbu-itchi, 文武一致),
and he should have a taste for both ways.'
